last night was a blast for me, but the news I just received leaves me crying in disbelief. my good friend john rambo died in a car accident last night. I am shaking too much to even think straight. john is going to be dearly missed.

my soulseek is up, and I've been listening to more legiao urbana than one should be allowed to. I also downloaded ricky martin's version of a via láctea - gracias por pensar en mi - and I wonder how someone takes the most tragic, depressing, "life-is-ending-and-there-is-no-hope" song*, written by the saddest songwriter I've ever heard at the time in his terminal stage of AIDS, and transforms it in a bubbly pop song. it like... girlfriend in a coma, but unnintentional.
